The Park Forest Crime Watch is made up of dedicated volunteers committed to keeping our neighborhood safe.
The Crime Watch works directly with the Dallas Police Department (DPD) to help deter and reduce crime in our neighborhood. There are no dues associated with being involved and all funds received are through generous donations from our residents.
The crime watch participates in bi-monthly neighborhood meetings with the Dallas Police Department and guest speakers to provide neighbors with information regarding crime and safety in our neighborhood.
ENHANCED NEIGHBORHOOD PATROL
The primary focus of THE ENHANCED NEIGHBORHOOD PATROL is crime prevention, and the safety and well being of the residents of the neighborhoods served.
The Enhanced Neighborhood Patrol (ENP) is a program provided by the Dallas Police Department and is paid for by your membership. The Patrol Service hires off-duty uniformed Dallas police officers to provide Northaven Park supplemental protection at key times of day and night. NPPS provides an extra level of security and crime prevention that many residents want. The service provides benefits and services not provided by regular Dallas police patrols.
VOLUNTEERS IN PATROL
VIP IS A NON-CONFRONTATIONAL NEIGHBORHOOD PROGRAM DESIGNED TO REDUCE CRIME THROUGH THE COOPERATION BETWEEN RESIDENTS AND THE DALLAS POLICE DEPARTMENT (D.P.D).

THE VIP PROGRAM IS OPEN TO ALL RESIDENTS INTERESTED IN KEEPING OUR NEIGHBORHOOD SAFE. EACH PARTICIPANT IS REQUIRED TO PATROL 2 HOURS A MONTH AFTER ATTENDING A ONE-TIME MANDATORY TRAINING CLASS BY DPD.
